Oak Lawn Care was founded by three high school friends, all 14 years of age at the time, who shared the initial investment of $100 into a bike trailer. Clear View Exterior Cleaning is a power washing and general cleaning company still in development. It aims to serve both residential and commercial clients and will partner with Purple Glass Recycling (Purple) to clean bins and maintain the exterior spaces of Purple's commercial clients' properties.

Meet The Owner
Ben Burgei is a 16-year-old junior, entrepreneur, and athlete with a strong work ethic. He runs multiple businesses while maintaining high grades and competing as a wrestler. His drive, discipline, and focus define his success in both academics and business.
Ben currently operates Oak Lawn Care and Purple Glass Recycling, with plans to launch Clear View Exterior. Oak Lawn Care began as a small neighborhood mowing service and has since expanded to over 35 clients, employing up to 10 local students and friend from school. Purple Glass Recycling was created to address Fairfax County’s glass recycling challenges, turning an environmental issue into a business opportunity that benefits the community.
Ben’s passion for business started early. As a child, he ran lemonade stands and small sales, always looking for ways to make money and understand business transactions. That passion led him to scale his ventures into established businesses, setting a strong foundation for his future.
Beyond business, Ben is an active community member. As a National Honor Society student, he maintains high academic standards while giving back through volunteer work. His commitment goes beyond financial success: he aims to create an social, real impact through his work—whether providing quality services, actively reducing glass waste, or employing his friends.
Ben plans to attend a university in Virginia after high school to continue growing his business knowledge. Even before college, his focus remains on scaling his businesses and exploring new opportunities.
